What's the difference between S1, S1P, S2, and S3 safety shoes?+
Under EN ISO 20345, S1 covers a closed heel, antistatic sole, and energy-absorbing heel with toe protection; S1P adds a penetration-resistant midsole; S2 adds water resistance to the upper; S3 adds both penetration resistance and a cleated outsole. We can build to whichever class your market requires — confirm the exact rating with our team for the specific model you need.
Steel toe or composite toe — which should I choose?+
Steel toe caps are the industry default for impact/compression protection and cost less. Composite toe caps (fibreglass or composite) are lighter and non-metallic, useful where airport security checks or electrical/metal-detection environments matter. Both are available across our safety footwear range.
What do 200J, 1100N, SR, and SRC mean on a spec sheet?+
200 joule (200J) is the toe-cap impact-resistance test energy; 1100 newton (1100N) is the compression-resistance test load. SR denotes tested slip resistance; SRC means the sole passed slip tests on both ceramic-tile/soap and steel/glycerol surfaces. These figures apply per model — ask us for the datasheet of the specific style you're sourcing.
Can you produce antistatic or ESD-rated footwear?+
Yes — antistatic construction is standard across our EN ISO 20345 safety footwear. ESD-specific (electrostatic discharge) footwear for electronics-handling environments can be developed on request; confirm resistance-range requirements at quotation.
Is your footwear oil and water resistant?+
Oil-resistant outsole compounds and water-resistant uppers (WRU) are available across most models. Full waterproof construction is available as a specified option — tell us your working environment and we'll recommend the right build.
Can you customize an existing model to our specification?+
Yes. Upper material, toe cap type, midsole, outsole compound, lining, colourway, and branding can all be adjusted from a base model or built from your tech pack. Every OEM order starts with a physical sample for your approval.
What's the minimum order quantity and sample lead time?+
MOQ and sample-development time vary by product and specification — we confirm exact figures once we know the model, materials, and customization involved. Ask at quotation stage and we'll give you a firm number for your requirement.
Is the sample cost credited against a bulk order?+
Yes. The cost of the sample is credited against your bulk order.
Can you arrange rush production?+
Yes. We can arrange rush production for urgent requirements. Share your quantity and deadline, and we will confirm what is feasible at the quotation stage.
Do you have experience with Letters of Credit (L/C)?+
Yes. We have experience with Letter of Credit payment terms on export orders. Tell us your preferred terms when you request a quotation.
What documentation do you provide for import/customs?+
We prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, and HS-coded export documentation in-house. Product-specific test reports and certificates are shared on request — contact our export team to confirm what's available for the model you're sourcing.
Can you export safety footwear to Saudi Arabia?+
Yes — we work with Gulf-market buyers regularly. Saudi import requires SABER/SASO conformity registration on the buyer or importer side; we support this with the product documentation we hold and can advise on the process for your specific model.
